R/C boating and racing is a lot of fun but can be very overwhelming at first with all the stuff there is to learn and toys there are available to try. Experienced boaters are usually very helpful but sometimes the worst to ask. This is because just like fishing, where there are hundreds of different lurers for the same fish, every racer is going to tell you what he thinks is the best or worst for that matter. While asking the experienced is a great way to learn, we also recommend that you utlize your computer and the Internet as much as you can. There are some great resources out there and you will learn the who is who in a matter of days.
